I know, I know..... I suck at the whole blogging thing. But I will spare you with excuses and just tell you a little about what has been going on. Robert is going to school, working at Brasher's and Rite Auto, and is Elders qoruom President in the ward, plus b

eing an awesome Husband and Daddy. Lucas this week has been Potty Training and has not had one accident in three Days!!!!! Wahoo! He is such a great kid! He knows all his shapes and colors and can count to ten! He has quite the personality and really likes talking to everyone!

I have been busy potty training and keeping up with daily life.....Oh Plus We had another Baby! Jillian Dianne Miller was born December 17th, 2011 (That is the anniversary of when Robert Proposed to me!) At 3:02pm weighing in at 8lbs. 10 ounces! She is beautiful and Lucas is an amazing big brother to her! So here are some pictures......

Auntie Lissa and I took Lucas to walk around the Sacramento Temple grounds for the first time. He LOVED the fountain! It was such a nice day, and was so nice just to be on the grounds with my son. He threw a fit when it was time to leave!! We will definitely be taking him back for years to come!

Lucas had a clogged tear duct that needed a procedure to fix. It was more scary for mommy then for little Lucas. But, the procedure went off without a hitch, and my little boy was back to himself in no time. AND it fixed it! So yay!!

Today is my Bestest Friend Melissa Kaupanger's Birthday! Melissa and I became friends the end of our senior year, and we have been best friends since! We have been on many adventures and are now going on those adventures with our husbands shaking there heads at us! hahaha! Melissa and I said that we would be there for everything with each-other! We were there for weddings, showers, buying houses, and heck Melissa was with me when my labor first started and then when I had Lucas there she came to see me at the hospital! I love Melissa so much and am thankful for her friendship everyday! We are both blessed that we told each other that our husbands have to be best friends so we can still hang out when were married and Jordan and Robert are x-box buddies. Lucas' 1st birthday was on Easter, which was kind of a bummer but we found a way to enjoy ourselves! We celebrated the weekend before at Freedom Park near McClellan. We had so much fun gathering with family and our close friends! Lucas got a lot of fun gifts that have now taken over the house! Rob made the cake and it turned out great! He is so talented! We love our Little Lucas!

So it has been a while, I have been reminded regularly by my niece Kylie. So this is what has been going on at the Miller household. Lucas had his first Thanksgiving and he had a great time and was the center of attention. Ashley finished up her last two classes and is walking at graduation in May from ARC with her A.A. in Early Childhood Education. As of now though she is a loving being a stay at home Mom. Robert is still working for Twin Rivers School District. This semester he is taking four really hard accounting classes, but Lucas and I know he will do great. We had our first Christmas in our new home. Lucas was spoiled, but so fun to watch open presents. My sister Erin came with her family for christmas. I finally had the chance to meet my new nephew Jacob, who is three months younger than Luke. It was a lot of fun to have my whole family here for the holidays. So updates on Lucas..... he has of now 6 teeth, he crawls about, gets into everything!, he gives the cutest toothy grin ever!, He loves to pull himself up to the couch, he gets a lot of bumps on his head because he has no fear, he says Da-da, papa, and loves music. Now that i feel i have talked enough here are some pictures with more to come.

My nephew Trenton turned Twelve! He has turned out to be an outstanding young man, that is great example to me and my son! I love Trenton! He has such a sweet personality! Lucas went camping! He did an awesome job, even though he was teething! Poor thing! We went with Rob's parents, Elizabeth and Jason and the girls, Katie and Emelia. We went to Dillons Beach and just stayed one night! We went crabbing and caught only one crab with one claw! Hannah loved the crab and took very good care of it till we ate it! Leah who is two months younger than Lucas did great as well! What a trooper! Maddie ran around and got really dirty! We all had a blast I think, and the food was amazing! Hope we get to do it again next year.

School Time!

The smell of freshly sharpened pencils are in the air! hahaha! That is right school is going to begin even for us! Rob has a few classes that he is going to take this semester, till he heads to Sac State. I have two classes that I will be taking and I will have the help of my Family to watch the little man! After i finish the two classes I will have finished A.A. degree in Early childhood development! I am stoked! i know that would never be able to finish if I did not have the awesome support of my family!!!!! So now the Interesting stuff!!!! Lucas is 4 months old weighing in at 16 pounds and 25 1/2 inches! He is a big boy! His latest accomplishments is rolling over, throwing his pacifier, laughing so loud, and Talking and screeching and Fake COUGHING to get peoples attention! He is amazing and growing way to fast! What happened to my newborn!!??????? well that is all for now! I will post pictures soon! Promise!

Paper, the new toy?????

So the other day at Grandma Bowler's house, Lucas discovered a new toy!!! No it is not what you would expect. It was paper! My mom had a stack of magazines on the side table, and my son decided that he wanted one and even tore off the front of it! Luckily it was one my mom did not want! The the other night I was holding Lucas and was also looking through a wal-mart ad, well Lucas decided he wanted that as well. He played with it till he actually feel asleep. Hey, so I guess if you want to wear your child out, don't spend money on expensive toys, just give them paper! Hahahaha!

For a family outing one beautiful Saturday, we decided to go to the discovery museum. It was very small but that is the best size for a 3 month old! Hahahaha! I think Rob had more fun than any of us because adults were aloud to touch the displays! (Rob has a facination of touching everything to see how it works, never take him to a doctors appt.! hahaha) But that is why I love him!

Rob's mom's birthday is July 6th, so we were thinking of what we could give her, well we decided on pictures of the grand kids that we took ourselves! Elizabeth on June 3rd had a beautiful baby girl named Leah, and we don't have any pictures of her and Lucas! So off we went it was fun, but hard at the same time. It took a lot of silly faces and teddy grahams to get these pictures. In the end though it paid off she loved them!

So I have been very Lucky that Lucas since he was like three weeks old has been sleeping through the night, so a couple weeks ago he started waking up in the night and not really wanting to be laid back down in the bassinet! So I was beating my brain till I really thought about it! Lucas has really Long arms and in the night he was holding them out and hitting the sides of the bassinet and waking himself up. So guess what??? much to my dismay it was time for him to move to his room and sleep in his crib! It was hard the first night but oh was it nice to sleep again! So now my lil guy is a big boy sleeping in his own room! Remember Lucas though you may be getting bigger you will always be my baby!

My parents for the fourth of July wanted to celebrate it a different way! They bought tickets for all five of us kids that live down here and their families! It was awesome! We had Grandma Miller watch Lucas because we knew it would not be a place he would enjoy! It was nice just to be with my Hubby and enjoy the game! The sun was right on us till about 8 pm. and then it was great weather! The best thing of the night in my opinion was that it was dollar hot dog and ice cream night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Any one that knows me, knows that I love hot dogs!!!! mmmmmm.....
At the end of the evening there were beautiful fireworks that Rob and I got to see from the freeway because we wanted to get back to our baby! here are some pictures of the wonderful evening!

Let me tell you, baby's grow up way to fast, it feels as though we just brought him home from the hospital. Now he has been playing in his exer saucer, been swimming, talking , laughing, and watching fireworks! The thing is he has loved it all! Robert and I have been enjoying every minute of it! So the other night Lucas and I decided to stop by and say hi to daddy at work! Well as you know Rob works at an elementary school and right now in the classes they are learning about Ducks and how they hatch out of eggs and how to take care of them! So they have little ducky's hatching out, and Rob really wanted Lucas to see one. Now Lucas is seven weeks old and I know that your thinking "He won't care!", but I think he actually enjoyed himself! Plus I got some cute pictures of my lil guy!

Today was Robert and I's 2nd anniversary!!!! May 25th, 2007 I was sealed for all time and eternity to my wonderful Husband! I love him more with each passing day!!!!! I was just saying to Rob, in 2 years we have had bought a house and had our wonderful Lucas! I wouldn't change my life for anything! I just want to tell you Robert that you mean the world to me and I couldn't ask for a better husband or Father of my child! You are my better half! Lucas Miller was born April 4th, 2009 at 1:34pm. He weighed in at 8lbs. 13ounces. He was 20 inches long!!!! He has red hair and a lot of it, Ashley did have a lot of heartburn! The story of his arrival goes a little something like this....... for two weeks before Ashley had been dilating and on April 3rd at her doctors appointment she was dilated to a four, but was not in active labor. Later that evening after having dinner with Melissa and Jordan Kaupanger, Ashley started to have some contractions that were 6 mins. apart so at midnight off we went to the hospital. After a couple hours there they sent her home because the contractions had slowed. The next morning at around 7:30 am the contractions were back at 8 mins. apart. then 8:30am they were 4mins. Well at around 9:45am Ashley had them coming fast and hard, so off we went to Mercy San Juan. They checked us in at 10:30am because Ashley was dialated to a 7! Then came the epidural (Ashley gives 2 thumbs up for this!!!!) Then she jumped to 9, and then 10!!!! At 12:30am Ashley started pushing and an hour later came our Little red head!!!!! Now it has been two weeks and we are so happy to have Lucas in our lives!!!!! He is such a blessing!!!! Enjoy the pictures!!!!

Well, Robbie and I went to the Doctor's today and our lil man in doing great! I am measuring right on schedule and weight is good! My picture I put up I look big in, but I have not gained anywhere else, it is just all in the belly.!!!!! hahaha. So of course that makes my back hurt, and everything else. Robbie has been busy with school and work as usual and I am working a lil and sleeping a lot! Sorry this blog is short but are lives are pretty boring for right now!

Well, we have been very busy, and time is flying by now! Ashley will be having the baby in three months and we cannot wait!!!! His name will be Lucas Samuel Miller! Ashley's belly is getting bigger all the time! Christmas was wonderful! It was nice to be able to be together, and then go enjoy some family time! Rob got a drill, clothes, and lots of socks! Ashley got shoes, new PJ bottoms, and Rob surprised Ashley with Pearls!!!! They are beautiful! Then tonight Rob took me (Ashley) on a date to BJ's to eat and then shopping for some maternity shirts which we found on clearance at target! oh and we have now purchased Lucas's crib from Babies R Us! it will be here in ten days and then it's time to really kick into high gear and get his room finished! well i hope everyone had a nice Christmas!!!! We love you all!

On Friday the 24th, Robert and I went to place called Sono Tech, to go and have a look at the baby. This was not for the doctor, this was for our benefit because I am impatient and wanted to know what we were having. Well, at first all the cord was bunched in between the baby's legs and so I had to turn on my side and when I did the guy doing the ultrasound said,"It is Definitely a BOY!!!!!" Robert and I were both surprised because so many thought it would be a girl and the boy population on both sides is not very big. Our little boy is Robert's parents first grandson! He will be my parents 22nd, grandchild. We are thinking of names so when we have one we will let you know. I am so excited, and Robert is as well! So we hope that you enjoy the photos!!!!!!!

Okay, Okay! I have been a total slacker in the blog area, but when your head is in a toliet, you have homework all the time, your blog may not be the first priority! What has been happening well, school is gross, really wish it was over!!!!!!!! A few weeks ago Robert and I got to hear our babies heartbeat for the first time and that was amazing! In a few weeks we will be finding out if our bundle of joy will be a boy or a girl! Everyone asks me what I want and really I don't care I just want a healthy baby! I am now at the point that my jeans do not fit at all! It is something I am learning to live with! As for Robert he is busy busy! Let me tell you though, he is the best husband in the world! I am truly thankful to my Heavenly Father for him each and everyday! He is my everything! He is my best friend! Sorry no pictures this time! I will try to get some belly pictures up soon! well I hope this has made my sister happy and Melissa Kaupanger!!!!! I love you guys!

We are PREGNANT!!!!!!

On July 17th, Rob and I found out that we are expecting!!!!! We are both excited and cannot wait to hold our little bundle of joy!!!! We told my parents over dinner at Black Angus with my sisters Erin, Katie, and Rhena! It was great to be able to share the news before my sister Erin left for home. My mom is really excited just like all the rest of family. My older nieces and nephews are really excited the younger ones just looked at me like I am crazy! Rob's parents had been out of town picking up Emelia from BYU-Idaho, when we found out the news so we had to wait a little while and it almost killed me to wait! We did a creative way to tell his parents! We got a shoe box, on the inside we wrote " Mom and Dad guess what???" inside the box was pacifiers, and bibs that said "I love Grandma, and I love Grandpa" Rob's mom was very happy as well as his Dad! It was one of those moments you never want to forget! We will keep you posted on how the baby is doing! We are due at the end of March!

Sorry it has been awhile but Rob and I have been very busy with life! So now I am going to play catch up and post two new blogs!!! ( Okay MELISSA K.) !!!! HAHAHA! My sister Erin and her three children, Mikayla, Trevor, and Rylee came down to visit before their big move from Idaho to Portland, Oregon! It was the best to have them around for a few days! Rob and I got to hang out a lot with Erin and went many places! We would go shopping, out to eat, and we made a trip to Ikea, because Erin had not been yet and I think she fell in love! Mikayla has grown up so much, Trevor is still that little boy with a wild imagination, and Little Rylee was her crazy self! Uncle Robbie taught her many wonderful things to say like for example " lock it up!!!" which she thought was so funny to say to anyone anywhere! Awhile ago Rob and I got the game singstar, that all our family now is addicted too! We took it over to my parents and Erin, Katie, and I had a blast battling, we didn't sound great but it was awesome! I loved having my sister down here for a little while, it was amazing! I really did not want to say good bye! I wish her move was to Sacramento, but hey maybe someday! So Erin if your reading this, just know that I love you so much and miss you everyday!

Fireworks!!!! The 3rd and 4th of JULY!!!!!!

My Family decided to do Fireworks on the 3rd of July, do not ask me why! I never said they were normal! Hahaha! So all of my family got together at my grandparents and my brother Michael was the man for fireworks! It was fun to see my cousins, and other family members! We still have a few little ones in my family so of course there were a lot of tears, and going inside! My nephew Eric though is sooooo.... funny. He was sitting in a little chair watching the fireworks and turned around and said, "I love Fire!" while his older brother is crying because he was so scared! hahaha. My niece Paige who is 7 years old,sat on Uncle Robbie's lap the whole time! Lets just say she Loves him and wants all his attention! hahaha!

On the Fourth of July Rob and I were able to first sleep in! That was wonderful. Later that evening we went over to Rob's older sisters house Elizabeth. Since Rob's mom's birthday is on the 6th of July we decided to have cake and presents then as well! It was so much fun, and Rob's sister did a great job on the food! Pulled Pork sandwiches, corn on the cob, and more yummy food! Then came the fireworks! We could see the Fireworks from Sunrise mall and they were beautiful! Then came the Fireworks Jason, Elizabeth's husband bought and a few others! The Boys had a ton of fun! Even my Father in law was having a blast! Hannah, Rob's little niece was of course worried for the guys safety especially when they were holding them while they were going off! Don't worry luckily there were no trips to the hospital! Just good food, fun, and FIREWORKS!!

On Monday July 1st. I got off work and was really tired and knew that I had laundry and other things to do at home, but when I checked my phone I had a missed call from my Mom and in her message she invited Rob and I to go to the River cats Baseball game that evening with her and my dad and my sister her husband and their kids. I checked with Rob to see if he wanted to go. Of course I got the answer that I already knew. So we went and it was Fantastic! The weather was perfect, the kids were so much fun, and Rob and I were able to get my Favorite food!!!!! A HOT DOG!!! but not just any hot dog a Giant one pound of hot dog delight! hahaha. Sorry I forgot to take a picture of it, I was really hungry! It was totally worth being extra tired the next day! Take me out to the ball game any day!

This last weekend we went camping with my sis Katie and Melissa and Jordan. We had a good time even though the fish weren't biting. This was Ashley's first camping trip in the mountains and just our luck the bathrooms were the worst ever! haha that's life. Except for the crazy drunk people on Saturday night we had a great time!

Well as of May 25th of this year Robert and I have been married for a whole year! wohoo! We made it . So to celebrate we decide to go to the happiest place on earth. DISNEYLAND! It was a long road trip especially with the high gas prices but we made it, and it was AMAZING! We decide to go on memorial day weekend. Surprisingly it wasn't that crowded. We got to go on all of the rides that we wanted to. My favorite ride I would have to say was the Indiana Jones adventure ride. It was so awesome not that I've seen the movies. haha. Rob's new favorite ride was in California Adventure. It was the Hollywood's Tower of Terror. It was ok if you like the whole stomach in your throat type of feeling. The bellhop was very creepy. I always think that on a trip something always goes wrong. This trip proved me wrong. It was very relaxing and romantic. The only iffy part was a buffet we went to across from Disneyland. If you don't mind salad dressing that seems more like dirty water then this is your place. haha. The fireworks display was more than I could ever have imagined. They were so cool. And for those of you that know me know of my obsession with Belle from Beauty and the Beast. Well, after 22 years I finally met her!! I was actually nervous when it was my turn for a picture. Now isn't that silly. Well thats our trip.
